I grew up on a farm in South Georgia and I spent weekends and summers with my Granny.  Between her and my mom, I had some amazing teachers on the way food should be cooked.  My Granny taught me two things.  First she taught me about Jesus and secondly she taught me  how to cook.  I have taken both of those lessons and applied it to the restaurant and food you are enjoying.  I still go to the farm when I need to escape.  The farm is where my love for cooking BBQ began.  My grandmother always loved guests coming to her home and she never knew who we would bring to her home  to eat.  I hope you feel as welcomed at Holy Smokes as all the guest did at my Granny's house.
